A New Year village will close festively with a concert involving Georgian music stars at 20:00 today in the Dedaena Garden.
Georgian singers and ensembles are scheduled to also sing Abkhaz and Ossetian songs to respect the people living in Georgia’s currently Russian-occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions.
The New Year Village was opened on December 24 at the Orbeliani Square, Dedaena Garden, April 9 Garden, and Dry Bridge.
The Village included New Year decorations, a synthetic ice rink, an open-air cinema, a giant fairy tale book and storyteller, a New Year market, food facilities, sweets festival, attractions for children, a decorated Christmas tree and Santa’s house.
