Georgian Parlaiment’s Vice-Speaker from the ruling Georgian Dream party Gia Volski says that the country’s NATO membership may take a long time but Georgia should not change its position.
"NATO membership process may take time, but the country should not change its position at the international level - Georgia does not and will not start talking about neutrality, because a lot of energy and leaves have been sacrificed to strengthen the country’s foreign stance,” Volski said.
He stated that regional and international security is an issue that needs to be addressed together with partners.
Fellow ruling party MP Archil Talakvadze also stated today that Georgia’s foreign course is irreversible.
