Estonian President Alar Karis on Monday responded to his meeting with Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvili in his country and reaffirmed “firm support” for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
“Had a great meeting with the President of Georgia. Estonia is firmly committed to supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration. We’re rooting for Georgia’s success on its EU path”, he tweeted.
Zourabichvili has been scheduled to also meet Latvian and Lithuanian Presidents this week to “facilitate” Tbilisi’s obtaining of the EU membership candidate status later this year.
