According to updated data on Transfermarkt, the transfer value of Giorgi Mamardashvili has increased to €45 million.  This makes the goalkeeper of the Georgian national team currently the most expensive in the world.

In the updated FIFA ranking, following their success at the European Championship, the Georgian national team has also advanced by four places and now holds the 70th position.  The highest ranking position for the national team was in 1998, when they reached 42nd place.
