Forty-five business leaders from Georgia have recently attended SelectUSA, the largest investment summit dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment in the United States, the US Embassy to Georgia reported on Monday.
“A window of opportunity can be the key to success, and we are dedicated to creating such opportunities for Georgian entrepreneurs with unique ideas and businesses. Our mission is to help them break into the American market”, the Embassy stressed.
Under the leadership of Ambassador Robin Dunnigan, the delegation engaged in a several-day event where they met with investors and high-ranking US government officials to discuss business opportunities in the US. Georgian entrepreneurs also had the chance to present their business ideas, the diplomatic mission noted.
It highlighted the visit marked another “important step” in strengthening the economic ties between the two countries and that the US remained committed to this economic partnership.
